About Venice

With 10 years of working with youth I'm excited to offer my dedicated childcare services to your family. My passion stems from witnessing children blossom as they learn and grow, and years of positive experience working with children of all ages. I hold a college degree in environmental studies and have completed courses in early childhood development, as well as certifications in first aid and CPR. I am also a DONA trained doula. Previously I was a certified US sailing coach and skiing instructor. My experience in education comes from years spent as the head educator for a nature based learning program. There I ran a homeschool based forest school and programs in city schools in the greater Rochester area. I enjoy learning through experience, each child's individual interest and nature focused play. I'm happy to help prepare meals, and supervise swimming and am also comfortable caring for more than one child at a time.
