About Velene

Hi! My name is Velene, & I'm a caring, reliable nanny w/ experience caring for children of all ages. Along with caring for my own 20 m/o son, I've also babysat for siblings, cousins, and toddlers in my family, so I'm very comfortable adapting to different ages and personalities. I have a background as a LVN w/ 9 yrs experience, including pediatrics, & CPR certified. Safety, patience, & creating a calm environment are always my top priorities. I enjoy keeping kids engaged w/ fun & age-appropriate activities like outdoor play, crafts, puzzles, &learning games. I'm also happy to help w/ light cleaning, homework, &school pick-ups. I'm bilingual (Eng/Span) &always communicate clearly w/ parents through updates, texts, or calls-whatever you prefer. I do want to be upfront that I am a SAHM & would need to bring my son with me.
