About Velda

I have had a lot of great experiences in working with children! I am soft-spoken but I am firm and loving. I was privileged to be a stay-at-home mom for most of my 3 kids' growing up years. During that time I homeschooled my children for a period of 10 years. When my children were grown I worked for the Greenville Public School System in Greenville, Michigan as a Reading Interventionist for children k-5th grade. I left my most recent position as office manager at my church in Greenville, Michigan. I have had the privilege and opportunity of working in the nursery, and in the children and youth programs for 22 years. I am willing to do light housekeeping including laundry. Also a simple meal and errands.
