I am an elementary degree graduate who adores children. I have done student teaching in kindergarten classes and I've had a blast! I adore high energy children who love playing games and being active. I have spent several years working at summer camps with children and teens alike. I have led day camps, counseled up to 11 girls in a cabin for a week at time, taught small groups, and supervised recreational activities (swimming, climbing wall etc.) My love of children brought me to babysitting at the young age of 12. It didn't take long for parents to see the fun children were having with me and shortly I was spending all of my spare time babysitting. I also have spend countless hours volunteering in our church nursery. This experience helped me become comfortable with the needs of infants and toddlers. I enjoy spending time with children of all ages. I love the energy and joy they bring. Their curiosity and enthusiasm for life is inspiring.

Mindy has given our family such a high level of care. She brings a depth of knowledge and wonderful experience that shows up in a lot of ways, such as the transition period at arrival and departure, mealtime, but most notable in developmentally appropriate play. Mindy's warmth and love of children is apparent. Her attention to detail leaves our home better each time she visits. Our little one shows noticeable signs of improvement and growth in gross motor, fine motor skills, and everyday routine improvements that can be attributed to Mindy. She shows a good balance of integrating outside and inside time here on the home front, but is willing to take our little out into the world for toddler-sized adventures. She is also kind to our cats and walked the dog while strolling the baby, which is a huge help to our family unit. Mindy is a childcare catch.
