I'm from Guyana a small country in south America. I moved to the US a few years ago. I have been babysitting ever since I was in high school for friends and family including some private babysitting, I have done 5 years of paid babysitting in the United states with multiple families, I was with a family in New York for 2 years then I moved to Illinois and was with 2 different families 1 year each, I also babysit for a friend of mine who have 5 kids but that wasn't a paid job, I would do occasionally babysitting as well for multiple families. I have experience with new born, infants, toddlers, preschoolers, preteens, teens etc. I studied business, I'm very polite, easy going, full of energy, and I'm passionate about everything I do. Vanessa has been nanny to our two boys for the last four years. We couldn’t have found a better caregiver for them. They love her so much! She started when our youngest was 9 months old and my oldest was 2.5. They were quite a handful and had tricky schedules at that age but she managed it extremely well. Now that they are a little older she has gotten so great at taking them on adventures around the area. She knows all the best library storytimes and music classes. She’s confidently taken them to museums and also got them accustomed to running errands and shopping for the house. She has also been a helpful teacher preparing them for preschool and kindergarten; working on letters, numbers and reading. She is kind, responsible and dependable. We would highly recommend Vanessa.
