Hello! My name is Vanessa B. Currently I am about to embark on my biggest adventure, which is obtaining my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am am looking for a less extensively stressful job as I begin this rigorous schooling. I am currently an ongoing social worker with the DCF in Hyde park. Before this position, I was an intensive case manager working with high risk foster care youth. Right out of college, my first job opportunity was working as a Registered Behavioral Technician administering ABA therapy to my full caseload of kiddos. Over the years I have learned how to work with children of all ages from newborn to 18+ experiencing many different walks of life. Some kiddos were experiencing high levels of trauma & others mental health stressors. I learned how to work hand & hand with families who's kiddos were experiencing difficulty with developmental disabilities as well. I am a people person & enjoy forging collaborative working rapports.
