About Darkia

Hello! My name is Darkia (Dar- key- ah). I would describe myself as outgoing, kid at heart, dedicated, passionate, caring and open minded. I graduated from Wheelock College with my BSW, did a non profit program and then graduated with my masters in mental health counseling with a focus in dance/movement therapy from Lesley University, and am now licensed (LMHC) and have been working in the field since for many years now. I am very passionate about the work I do, I am currently a mental health therapist at a therapeutic high school, a dance teacher, and a mentor. I have always loved working with kids. I have experience babysitting, nannying, working at a daycare, being a counselor at summer camps, internships and more. I have worked with a wide age variety and enjoy youth of all ages, backgrounds and abilities! I love being active sports, dancing (since I was 5), singing, art, reading, music, and being outside.
