I have been taking care of animals my whole life, not because someone asked me to, just because that is who I am. My mother and I run a stray dog rescue in Jamaica right now. We care for 20 dogs ourselves and walk a daily feeding route through our neighborhood for strays still on the street. We fund everything ourselves because it has never felt optional to us. Here in Cary I work at Pet Palace caring for dogs and cats because being around animals is genuinely where I am most at peace. I am not someone who fills the bowl and leaves. I sit with them. I notice how they are feeling. I am patient with anxious animals and comfortable with all sizes and temperaments. I will send you pictures and actually tell you how your pet is doing. Your animal will know they are loved while you are gone. That I can promise.
