About Vanessa

I am a licensed elementary educator currently teaching first grade in a local school district, with 15+ years of classroom experience supporting young learners. I hold a Master's degree in Education and am passionate about helping children build confidence and achieve academic success. My areas of expertise include early literacy instruction grounded in the Science of Reading, number sense and foundational math skills, and elementary writing development. I tailor instruction to meet each child's individual needs and learning style, creating engaging lessons that foster growth and confidence. I am available for part-time tutoring during the summer and can work directly with students or partner with parents to provide strategies and support that can be continued at home. My goal is to help children become confident readers, writers, and learners while equipping families with tools to support their ongoing success.
