About Vanessa

I'd describe my personality as creative, kind, and patient. I like working with kids because they remind me of how fun life can be when you pay attention. I want kids of my own one day, and being around them makes me hopeful for the future! I'm looking for a job that is consistent and a healthy work environment. While I understand that babysitting and nannying is hard work and can get chaotic, I want to work with families who are understanding and empathetic as well. I started working with kids when I was in middle school as a babysitter and later on as a summer camp counselor and dance instructor. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, listen to podcasts, and do crafts. One thing you should know about me is that I am Mexican and speak Spanish. My skills include patience, gentle-but-firm "parenting", and creative and educational playtime.
