About Vanessa

My previous duties have been to maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, and problems in order to administer prescribed oral medications under written direction of physician or as directed by home care nurse and aide. I provide patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs or automobiles, and with bathing, dressing and grooming. I change bed linens, wash patients' laundry, clean patients' quarters, and assist with pets. I entertain, converse with, or read aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert. I plan, prepare, and serve meals to patients according to their diet restrictions, should they have any. I direct patients in simple prescribed exercises. I check patients' pulse, temperature and respiration. I have compassion, empathy, and respect for my patients and believe that their well-being is my purpose for being placed in their lives.
