About Vanessa

My name is Vanessa, and I am a former educator with 4+ years of experience teaching and caring for children. I am moving to D. C. to pursue a graduate degree and will miss my classroom and students dearly so I am hoping to bring joy and provide a caring and nurturing environment to other kids in the area. While I primarily taught 4th and 5th grade, I also conducted Saturday school and tutoring programs for kids in grades 1-6 and am experienced teaching all ages. I have also babysat when my scheduled allowed for it and have cared for infants and babies, and even teenagers. Personally, I am responsible, fun, reliable, and organized. I am also a former soccer player so being active is important to me. I am used to teaching 25 children at a time, so I can multitask and execute plans without any supervision. Lastly, I am looking to provide a safe, nurturing, and stable environment for your little ones and to establish a trusting and lasting connection with you.
