About Vanessa

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math, English, Science, and essential study skills. By actively listening and observing how a student interacts with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. I keep lessons engaging by connecting challenging concepts to real-world examples and personal interests. I believe open communication with both students and parents is vital for setting clear expectations and achieving optimal outcomes. Witnessing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I am eager to provide a supportive, patient environment where your child can thrive, and I look forward to helping your student succeed. I am a Juinior studing Family and Consumer Science Education.
