I'm a very creative and cheerful person! I came to the US as an au pair in 2019 and I lived with the same family for two years, taking care of two girls, aged 3 and 5. We had a blast doing crafts, dancing, going out for walks and parks. The little one even learned to read and math (+ and -) with me, which makes me very proud since my first language is Portuguese. I've been a volunteer in a Pathfinder Club (similar to Scouts) since I was 15 years old, which is why I love children so much. Outdoor play, arts and crafts, dancing, and going to the park are some of my favorite activities. I also have some experience with babies, 7 months old. I'm open to learning more and taking more courses on baby care and newborn care. I'm also open to dates nights and personal assistance, such as grocery shopping, cleaning, and laundry. So I needed my house cleaned fairly quickly as my last cleaner was let go. Vanessa came by, assessed my home and gave me (what I thought was) a fair price. She came back the following week and cleaned my house from top to bottom. It was by far the BEST cleaning my house had since I had been here including the cleaning we had before moving in! She had excellent attention to detail, didn’t use all those crazy smells trying to “prove” it was clean, just REAL CLEAN. I did like that she asked my preference on certain things but I gave her free rein to do her thing and she did! Of course I hired her, I would have been a fool not to!
