Hola! I am a 2013 graduate of CSULB with a BA in Spanish and a credentialed Spanish teacher, having earned my credential in 2017. I have experience teaching all levels of Spanish. My interest in Spanish began at a young age when my grandpa gave me a bilingual picture book. Fast-forward about 15 years to when I met my handsome husband, Ricardo, who hails from Mexico City. Then my desire to learn Spanish REALLY intensified! This started me on my journey of learning Spanish which started at Long Beach City College and ended at CSULB with a BA & teaching credential, both in Spanish! I am very passionate about the language and culture and knowledgeable, considering my academic and personal background! I have also traveled to Mexico, Costa Rica, La republica dominicana, and Cuba! Being bilingual has opened up a whole new world for me and I desire to instill the passion for the language, people, and culture in others! Although Spanish is my specialty, I am also able to tutor other subjects!
