I am a mother of two grown adult daughters and blessed with a granddaughter and two grandsons. I love being a career nanny and could not imagine doing anything different in my life. I am a very organized, extremely flexible, detail oriented person. I respond promptly to questions from my parents. I am a self starter and very reliable. I am also a baby/toddler lover, skilled communicator, schedule creating, fun person who also loves animals. I owned my own in-home Daycare for over 10 years before entering into public daycare as a lead teacher in the infant 0-18 months room and floating between toddler rooms. I have had the pleasure of working with a few Physician families in the Highland Park/Dallas area where my schedule changed monthly based on hospital rotation and worked many overnights. I feel my role as a nanny is to be an extension of the parents by following their rules and parenting styles as well as providing a safe loving environment for all children.

Val has worked for me for the past year as a nanny for my one-year-old and three-year-old daughters. Val has been a truly exceptional employee and has become an integral part of our lives and our family. My work schedule requires me to frequently work nights and weekends, and Val has adapted to my unconventional schedule with ease, while helping to maintain a sense of normalcy for my children. She takes them to/from school, feeds them dinner, and spends time playing with them. She has also been helpful with last-minute emergencies like picking the girls up from school when they were sent home sick and taking them to doctor appointments. I always trust that my kids are safe and happy when they are with Val, and I would not be able to maintain my current lifestyle without her. My family will miss Val immensely when we move. I would hire Val again without any hesitation and would recommend her to anyone in need of childcare.
