Valerie provided childcare for our family for five years, but we never really thought of her as “just a nanny.” Very quickly, she became part of our family. I honestly don’t know how we would have survived those early years with four young children without her. Valerie was always punctual, flexible, and incredibly dependable. More importantly, she truly cared about our kids and always had their best interests in mind. She didn’t just care for them day to day. She taught them things that will benefit them for years to come. She constantly went above and beyond, from helping with dinners to jumping in with whatever would make our lives easier after a long day at work. Her heart is huge and her thoughtfulness shows in everything she does. Even though our children are now in school and we no longer need daily care, Valerie is still a special part of our lives. She still checks in with the kids, FaceTimes them, and remembers them with thoughtful gifts and little moments that mean so much. Hiring someone to come into your home and care for your children can be nerve wracking. But with Valerie, I never once had to worry. If I were hiring childcare again tomorrow, Valerie would be the very first person I would call. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
