About Calico

Hi! My name is Calico, and I'm 18 years old. I've always enjoyed caring for children and I helped my mom care for my younger brothers growing up, which gave me experience with children early on. I also have about 1 year and 7 months of paid childcare experience caring for a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old. This included overnight care, keeping them company until they fell asleep, playing with them, watching TV together, preparing and getting them food and drinks, and responding to them if they woke up during the night. I'm responsible, patient, and attentive, and I'm always willing to learn and take on new responsibilities. I don't currently have any childcare certifications, but I'm more than willing to obtain them if needed. Please note that I don't currently live in Michigan but will be moving on October 9th and can start on October 16th, can be negotiated if needed.
