Valeria, or Vale, like my son calls her, has been a one-in-a-million caregiver. She treats our home and our family with respect, is an extremely clear communicator, and gives this single mom much-needed breaks! I never have to worry about my child's safety, and he often begs me to ask Vale if she can come hang out with us for an afternoon. I've always tried to encourage my son to speak Spanish and take an interest in dancing, but he wasn't having it. Guess what Vale got him to try? Yup, he now flexes his Spanish skills with anyone who will humor him. I'm so grateful to Vale and it's a testament to her caring nature that my son feels safe enough to try learning new things with her. I'm a primary caregiver with limited family support, and Vale has been a lifeline. I wish I could hire her more often. She'd be a great asset to any family lucky enough to have her in their lives.
