About Valeria

I'd describe my personality as determined, positive, and outgoing! I like working with kids because kids are our future! I'm looking for a job that that allows me to work during my summer off from college. I started working with kids when I was 13. I mostly babysat children around my neighborhood. Then I became an EDC counselor at the WIS international school where I was in charge of an afterschool kindergarten program. In my spare time, I like to read books, bake, and do arts and crafts. One thing you should know about me is that I like to do activities with children. My skills include communication, patience, and creativity. This skill is important with children to be able to effectively interact with them. Patience is important since children are constantly learning which means they are very prone to making mistakes. Lastly, I am incredibly creative with the activities I do with children. Most of the activities I conduct are fun but also educational or meet a core need.
