About Iris

I'd describe my personality as caring, creative, and patient. I like working with kids because since I was 12, I have been a summer camp counselor that teaches children ages 6-12 how to sew. My job has always been fun to me and something I look forward to every summer. I want to be someone that the kids can look up to and be a reliable helper. I am inspired by their creativity and enthusiasm, and they always brighten my day. I also want to work with children in my future, as I am hoping to be a pediatric speech pathologist. In my spare time, I like to be outside, go on walks, make crafts, and spend time with friends My skills include being able to keep children engaged in safe and fun activities as well as coming up with fun things to do, calming down emotions, and being a good listener.
