About Valarie

Hello! My name is Valarie, and I am a responsible, reliable, and highly engaged caregiver with extensive experience working with children in structured environments. I am currently a college student with a strong academic background and a commitment to leadership, organization, and child development. I have worked as an AmeriCorps camp counselor with the Boys & Girls Club, supervising children in high-responsibility settings, ensuring safety and positive behavior while leading daily activities and enrichment programs. I have also served as a youth sports golf coach. I am CPR certified, comfortable managing routines, and skilled at balancing fun with structure. I enjoy engaging children through outdoor play, sports, reading, and educational games, and I am comfortable assisting with homework. I have studied abroad in Spain and South Korea, am conversational in Spanish, and played college-level soccer and volleyball. I am professional and take every caregiving role seriously.
