I have hands-on experience working as a caregiver with both adults and children with disabilities, as well as seniors in assisted living, memory care, and home-health settings. I've supported individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism, mobility impairments, and cognitive conditions, always providing care with patience, dignity, and respect. My responsibilities have included assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility support. I am experienced in using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and transfer techniques, and I always prioritize safety and comfort. I have also provided behavioral and emotional support, helping individuals manage anxiety, frustration, and sensory needs.
