Hi I'm Tyra, I was born and raised in Corona, CA, but am now in San Marcos for school. I'm I'm a junior at CSUSM and am majoring in Business marketing. I'm a pretty active person, I played competitive soccer all of my life, I love hikes, being outdoors, painting, and writing. I come from a big family, so I am always around little kids who I love to spend time with. Because of that I'd say I have a lot of patience. I'd describe my personality as kind, genuine, and welcoming. I started working with kids in high school, just baby sitting for family and friends from then til now. I have also volunteered for my club team, and helped coach little kids play soccer. For the past 2 1/2 years, I've been babysitting on care. com and have gained immense experience of a wide range of ages from 5months- 14 yrs.

We had the pleasure of having Tyra spend time with our baby (4 months), and we truly enjoyed the experience. She has such a kind, warm presence, and her energy matched our baby’s so well — she was calm, attentive, and mindful of not overwhelming them. She communicated clearly before and during her time with us, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. One of the biggest wins for us was that she was able to get our baby down for a nap with no problems — which, as any parent knows, is huge! It showed us how patient, intuitive, and capable she is. She was engaged, present, and genuinely seemed to care about creating a comfortable environment for our baby. Any family would be lucky to have her support!
