I am the eldest sibling so naturally I've been babysitting since a young age. In a setting outside of family I've been a local babysitter for family friends until the 12th grade. In high school I gained experience with infants by watching my neighbors sons from birth. Upon graduating I took nanny jobs for various families in Wilmington over the summer I was also employed at a summer camp for elementary and middle school students. When nannying I would watch the children (up to 4 at a time) from about 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. I would provide breakfast and lunch daily, sometimes dinner on late evenings. Daily activities included going to the park, zoo or pool and making sure they got some summer reading done. For 3 summers I was employed in a program called FAME SUMMER UD where I was a residential assistant for students in high school. I would love to work with kids as a career and I feel like being a nanny is the best way to form personal relationships with the kids to support their growth.

My kids and I absolutely loved having Tyler as our babysitter when we lived in Delaware. I had a 6 year old son and a 2 year old daughter when Tyler used to watch them and I never once had any issues with Tyler or the children when I returned home. She is a very friendly, smart, and enthusiastic young woman and I wish I could have taken her to North Carolina with me because the kids ask about her all the time. There were several times I came back home later than I anticipated or called Tyler on short notice and I never got any attitude from her which had been a problem I had with other babysitters in the past. Tyler has always been respectful and responsible to us and I feel confident that she is the same way with everybody's child/children.
