About Whitney

Hello, during the year I am a high school English teacher. I am looking for a consistent family or families so I can have a second income during the summer. However, when the school starts, I would love to continue to work with families during the weekends or during breaks. I like working with kids because I want to be a good role model for children. I also still have a young heart myself and enjoy seeing children wonder and experience life. I'm looking for consistency. I want the family and I to have a growing trust and bond. Babysitting and/or nannying is a much better experience when both sides feel comfortable and feel a sense of "home" or being part of the family. I started working with kids in high school. I was a babysitter and a camp counselor for 8 years. Then after college, I accepted my first teaching job in Maryland. I am just ending my 10th year. My skills include having high energy, planning fun experiences, being protective and watchfulness
