What motivated me to become a caregiver is a very personal experience. I have a little cousin who is 18 years old and completely bedbound due to a traumatic brain injury. When he was just 2 years old, he was left with someone who severely hurt him, and as a result, he lost many of his abilities - he can't walk, see, or talk, and he's fed through a feeding tube. Growing up, I helped my aunt care for him, assisting with his daily needs and watching the impact that compassionate care had on his quality of life. That experience taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of treating others with dignity. It truly inspired me to want to help others who can't care for themselves and to make a difference in their lives the way my family and I did for him. I'd describe my personality as funny , and outgoing. In my spare time, I like to shop and journal . One thing you should know about me is I'm currently in nursing school to get my CNA.
