About Trudy
I am a daughter that tenderly cared for her Mama for eight years. Grocery shopping, doctor's appointments, errands, light housekeeping and some meal prep. Her dementia progressed and she was in Memory Care for three years at the beginning of Covid. She taught me everything. Things I didn't even know I learned until I started caring for her. And the learning continued each day. We laughed together, cried together, sang together and did a lot of memory sharing. I got my caring heart from her and Dad, but mostly from her. Laughing is important. Listening is important. Smiling is important. So much you don't even realize until they pass. It was an honor to share with her. We are always connected. Respect is key and a knowing, that love comes to you in crazy ways.
