About Patrick

I'm a retired biochemist with more than 40 years' experience in Medicine and medical research now enjoying a second career in Nursing. After taking care of my blind, diabetic mom for several years, and at her urging, I was inspired to make nursing my new life's work. I am an LPN specializing in Home/Geriatric Health and hospice care. I am also a nationally certified Pharmacy Technician, so I'm familiar with drugs, side effects, and proper dosages. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than making someone's life a little more comfortable or helping them in a time of need. I can help you with your daily activities, run errands for you or take you to the doctor, keep you organized and give you medicines, or sit with you and read you your favorite book. Most of all, I'm there if and when you need me, keeping you company and helping you to be more independent and safe in your own home.
