About Trista

Hello, my name is Trista, I taught Kindergarten and 1st grade for a total of 6 years. Prior to teaching, I volunteered, and student taught in a variety of different age groups fromninfants to 3rd grade. I also have past experiences with babysitting and helping take care of, and watch, young family members throughout high school and college, as well as babysitting for several families. I am organized and great with schedules and time management. I am very good at finding what interests kids. I love doing fun activities such as arts and craft, board games, reading with them, playing outside, going to the park, and much more! I have a finger print card, and am first aid/CPR certified. I also have experience working with children with autism and have previously done ABA therapy. Lastly, I practice respectful/gentle teaching styles and Montessori based learning.
