About Kali

We started working with Ms. Kali when my son was 7 years old, and honestly, we were pretty worried about where he was academically. He was in 2nd grade and was placed in all Tier 3 intensive intervention classes. He was struggling significantly and had very little confidence in himself as a student. He often got frustrated with schoolwork and especially reading, and we weren’t sure how long it would take for him to catch up. From the very first session, Ms. Kali was amazing with him. She immediately connected with him and somehow made learning feel fun instead of something he had to dread. She was incredibly patient and never made him feel bad when he didn’t know something. She always found a way to explain things differently until it clicked, and she made sure to celebrate even the little victories. One of the things I appreciated most was how well she got to know him. She learned what he was interested in and used those interests to keep him engaged. She didn’t just follow a one-size-fits-all approach. She really paid attention to what worked for him and adjusted her lessons accordingly. Now, two years later, he is 9 years old and in 4th grade, and the difference is honestly unbelievable. He has gone from being in all Tier 3 intensive intervention classes to being part of his school’s enrichment program! His confidence has completely changed. He believes in himself and is willing to try. Watching that transformation has been incredible as a parent. Ms. Kali has helped him grow academically, but even more importantly, she has helped him become confident in his ability to learn. She has been so encouraging, positive, and genuinely invested in his success every step of the way. We are so grateful we found Ms. Kali. She has such a natural way of connecting with kids, and you can tell that she truly cares about every student she works with. She has made such a huge difference in our son’s education and confidence, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the progress he has made.
