About Tressa

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary and middle school learners, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for discovery. I tailor my approach by using visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication to match your unique learning style. When we encounter challenging concepts, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I believe clear, collaborative communication with both students and parents is essential for setting expectations and tracking progress. Whether we are exploring science, history, or the arts, I find the most joy in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a new skill finally clicks. I look forward to creating a supportive, patient environment where you feel truly excited to learn.
