About Alyssa
Experience: 4 yrs
Empowering students to move beyond rote memorization is the foundation of my teaching practice. With four years of experience supporting middle and high school students in Math, Science, English, and test preparation, I prioritize building confidence and critical thinking skills. I adapt my methods to your unique needs by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and game breaks. When we encounter complex concepts, I break them into manageable steps and celebrate every small success . I maintain open communication with both you and your parents to ensure we meet your specific academic goals. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to helping you experience that rewarding "aha!" moment when a difficult topic finally clicks. I hold 2 college degrees, have a car, and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to helping you reach your full potential!
