Hello, I currently work as a Behavioral Specialist supporting individuals with IDD and special needs. My caregiving experience includes medication administration and assistance, mobility and transfer support, bathroom and personal-care assistance, meal preparation, and helping individuals with activities of daily living. I also have experience following individualized care and support plans, implementing daily living and skill-building goals, and assisting with established PT exercises and routines as directed. Beyond the hands-on care, I believe how someone is treated matters just as much as what you do for them. I'm patient, dependable, empathetic, and down-to-earth. I understand the importance of preserving a person's dignity, independence, routine, and choices while still providing the support they need to remain comfortable and safe.
