I have over 20 years of experience caring for children. 13 of the last 15 years I lived in Haiti and cared for a variety of special needs. For the last years in Haiti I fostered 18 children (not all at the same time) while they waited to go to their forever families. I have extensive experience working with kids with trauma and have extensive experience with a variety of special needs including cerebral palsy, wheelchairs, non verbal, delays in development, sensory processing disorder, colostomy, casts, braces, vesicostomy, feeding pumps, g-tubes, NG tubes, and more. I have a 5-year-old with a variety of medical complexities. While I am willing to work with any children, my passion is to work with children and people with special needs and to support their families because I know finding quality care for them is not easy.
