About Tonya

During childhood and adolescent years I was active in summer track, dance and on gymnastics team. Played volleyball and ran track, Jr. high and high school. Graduated college with bachelor of science, in Kinesiology all levels and minor in history. Taught school in Midland at San Jacinto middle school, physical Education/coached volleyball, basketball, track. Substituted in Monahan's Texas at elementary school K-6. I am a mother and grandmother and raised daughter being mother and father was challenging and very rewarding. I am a grandma and help care for my grandson, recently diagnosed with autism. While daughter attended nursing school I helped get him ready Head Start everyday, sometimes take and pick up. When needed care for after school, stay overnights and throughout summer. On occasion go to park to play and feed ducks, watches movies, and play, play, play. Whatever needs to be done; breakfast, lunch naps, snacks, supper, bath, ready for bed and get to sleep.
