About Raquel

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is my passion. My summers are spent doing what I love: helping kids learn and grow. As a certified teacher with a graduate degree, my background in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development coursework allows me to create engaging and educational experiences. I have seven years of experience caring for children, and I am most comfortable caring for one child at a time. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. Communication with you is key, so I provide written daily reports, verbal updates at pickup, and regular texts or phone calls. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, educational games, and some technology-based games. I also have First Aid Training and CPR Training. I'm happy to help with carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision.
