About Toni

I cared for my ailing stepfather on and off for about 15 years; he had diabetes and dementia. I worked with and for health care providers, home health and Medicare and Medicaid to care for him. I did the same for my mother for five years, more intensively, as she lived with me. He passed in 2009, and she in 2011. I fell in love with seniors that I saw in the nursing homes and hospitals, and realized that they not only are the "Greatest Generation", that they are a "forgotten generation". If I can help with chores, errands, or just company, I am willing to do that. Navigating Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Meals on Wheels, and a host of other programs for seniors is very difficult, especially if a senior is ill and/or has forms of dementia. I will do whatever I can to help. I definitely have the heart for this type of job.
