About Tonika

Nurturing children and watching them blossom is truly my passion. With 2 years of experience caring for children in a residential facility and working with youth who have disabilities and/or mental health issues, I offer a patient and imaginative approach to childcare. I am comfortable caring for 2 children at a time. I enjoy playing games, doing puzzles, arts and crafts and using educational tools to engage with kids. I also have first aid training and CPR training but my certification has expired. I hold a bachelor's degree in social work and am currently in my last semester of my master of social work program. I will follow your lead when it comes to household rules and preferred communication methods but am comfortable adapting to ensure everyone is safe. My goal is to support your family by providing reliable care. I'm also willing to help with light housekeeping. I believe in making a positive impact on children's lives.
