I have been a babysitter/nanny since I was a teenager. I am a mother of 5 grown children. I LOVE caring for children. Since I like to keep active I don't sit around watching TV with your kids all day. Some of the things I like to do with the kids I watch are: go for walks, go to the park ( I run and play right along with the kids), story-time at the Library, read to them, visit the pool or beach (if allowed), visit local farms (pumpkin patch), hiking trails, zoo etc... I interact with the children in my care continually by talking about what we are doing and where we are going which is part of the process of learning for them. When I am in your home I clean up any messes we make while I am there. Other chores up for discussion include: laundry, loading & unloading dishwasher, errands... I have cared for several families through Care. com in the past 7 years all of whom I still watch either regularly or occasionally.

We hired Toni as back up in case the toddlers at our party couldn't last the night. They did! But Toni seemed great. She came on time, was very pleasant, even brought books and toys for the children. We were definitely hire her again and were grateful and reassured to have found her.
