About Tina
Experience: 3 yrs
Kids learn when they feel seen. I always begin by noticing the skills a student already has, then building upon that foundation. I specialize in English/literacy skills for grades 6-12, including college essay writing. I have a toolbox of strategies for students with various abilities, learning styles, and levels of motivation. I'm a licensed teacher with 9 years of experience and a master's degree. I'm tutoring in place of working in a school this year (because I have a baby), so I have open availability!
