About Tina

As a professional caregiver, I worked for the LSS group home for mentally and physically disabled adults in Onalaska WI in my early 20s. I then worked for Alterra Clare Bridge Assisted Living Home in La Crosse WI for residents with dementia in my mid 20s. After leaving Alterra, I worked for the La Crescent MN Nursing Home for long term care residents with need for skilled nursing. After graduating with an associate degree in nursing, I worked almost 7 years for Mayo Hospital of La Crosse as a Pediatric RN that also cared for Orthopedic, OB/GYN and Urology post surgical patients and general medical patients. Most recently, I worked for Chileda of La Crosse as a direct support professional for behaviorally challenged children. I find the most reward when helping others. I have cared for my father and grandmother through cancer treatments. I have cared for my mother post surgery for a total knee replacement. I also greatly enjoy caring for animals, just as much, if not more than humans.
