I'm an enthusiastic personal care specialist with a unique mix of education and experience, committed to making a real difference in the lives of people with neurodegenerative diseases and learning disabilities. My background? A Master's in Biology with experience in neurology, where I gained hands-on experience aiding patients with ADHD, ASD, and neurodegenerative diseases. Passionate about providing more than just medical support, I founded a non-profit organization for Alzheimer's & dementia rehabilitation, offering cognitive exercises backed by science. I've also worked for two years as Direct Care Staff in a group home setting, assisting patients aged 4-60 with neurocognitive disorders. My strength lies not just in my knowledge, but in my approach: friendly, outgoing, always ready for a good laugh, and genuinely delighted when I can bring a smile to someone's face.
