About Tiayra

I'm currently a nanny 30 hours a week to infant twins, but available to babysit evenings and weekends. I have 28 years experience as a babysitter, 4 years as a professional nanny. My mom was a single parent, so I helped raise my baby brother. I began babysitting for other families as a teenager. I like working with kids because it's not work at all. Children are a joy to be around, even on their worst days. They are full of hope, brimming with imagination, and more perceptive than adults give them credit for. I enjoy seeing the world through their eyes, assisting in their milestones, and witnessing their development. Their energy is contagious, and I love joining in their playtime. I'm honored that I can teach them, listen to them, and make them feel safe. In my spare time, I write stories that occasionally get published. I also love drawing, watercolor painting, arts and crafts, cooking, baking, meditating, The Beatles, and being outdoors.
