About Tianna

I'm an interdisciplinary researcher, educator, coach, performer, dancer, athlete, nature guide and lifelong learner. I started tutoring more than 15 years ago and eventually chose to make a vocation out of helping people learn, grow their agency and do things on their own terms. My approach is stabilizing, curious and playful. I can support writing, research, reading comprehension, social sciences, college applications, study skills, project planning and executive functioning. I'm especially comfortable with neurodivergent learners and people who haven't felt served by traditional education. I'm direct, grounding and clear. I like figuring out how someone thinks, what they need to learn and what will make it click. My strengths are co-regulation, agency and attunement. Learning shouldn't be scary or unnecessarily hard. We can use conversation, creativity, movement, curiosity and lived experience to find a way of learning that actually works for you.
