About Thomas

I am a Special Education teacher that teaches both Math and Science at a local middle school. I have prior experience teaching Special Education at both Middle School and High School levels. I currently teach Math 7, Math 8 and Science 7. I also have experience teaching Global History II for 10th grade. I have experience with Special Education and teaching students with IEP and 504 plans, differentiating instruction, modifying curriculum and working closely with families to support students educationally. I have a good understanding of the content and am able to build positive relationships with each student that I encounter. I am very good at working with students 1:1 and creating a plan to build upon a student's present abilities in order to ensure they are successful.
