About Therese

I am a Montessori special education teacher with 20 years of experience teaching, nannying, tutoring, playing with, and loving children of all ages and neurotypes. I am a self-taught naturalist and love sharing nature, science, reading, and sports with children. A perfect day with children is being outside in the woods, hiking, playing, creating, swimming, building, exploring, biking, reading, going to museums and libraries, anything active or child-lead. I currently teach in a Chicago public Montessori school and seek to tutor/nanny this summer. I have decades of experience with individuals with autism/ASD, ADD, selective mutism, generalized anxiety disorder, learning disabilities, allergies, diabetes, and more. All special needs welcome!!
