Making a real difference in people's lives is what drives me as a caregiver. With 2 1/2 years of experience as a Certified Home Health Aide, I bring compassion and a calm demeanor to every situation. I also have 10 years experience as the primary caregiver for my mom after her stroke and currently has dementia. I am skilled in providing respite care, transportation, personal care, and mobility assistance. I also assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medical management. I understand the importance of adapting to changing routines and handling challenging behaviors with patience and redirection. I prioritize understanding each person's preferences and history to build a strong connection. I provide regular updates to families via their preferred method. I am CPR and First Aid certified, have a car, and am comfortable with pets. Supporting your loved ones' well-being and independence would be my honor.
