About Terra

I have dedicated my life to working with children through educational and recreational capacities for 40+ years. I have experience in teaching , working as a nanny( live in and out) and in art and sports. I also have experience with special needs children and presently am teaching adaptive swimming . I have certifications in Montessori Education and with my training and experience in the pedagogy I use a very hands on, concrete approach to teaching and a ultimate respect for each child as an independent. I creatively thrive make learning fun and adventurous, meeting the child " were they are" with their independent aptitudes, abilities and interest. I am a certified lifeguard and swim instructor (WSI). I have lived abroad for part of my career and speak Italian. I am very active and young at heart. I enjoy swimming, hiking, painting, yoga and snowboarding in my spare time . I would love to work with your family !
