I have dedicated my life to working with children through educational and recreational capacities for 40+ years. I have experience in teaching , working as a nanny( live in and out) and in art and sports. I also have experience with special needs children and presently am teaching adaptive swimming . I have certifications in Montessori Education and with my training and experience in the pedagogy I use a very hands on, concrete approach to teaching and a ultimate respect for each child as an independent. I creatively thrive make learning fun and adventurous, meeting the child " were they are" with their independent aptitudes, abilities and interest. I am a certified lifeguard and swim instructor (WSI). I have lived abroad for part of my career and speak Italian. I am very active and young at heart. I enjoy swimming, hiking, painting, yoga and snowboarding in my spare time . I would love to work with your family !

We wholeheartedly recommend Terra as her positive impact on our children was immense. Terra is very dependable, consistently punctual, and highly professional. She is an exceptional caregiver who fully respects family preferences, including our strict no-screen-time rule, which she maintained effortlessly through imaginative play. She brought amazing creative art activities and games to every visit (the kids were excited for "the purple bag"), alongside fun, active music that kept our children engaged and moving. Our kids absolutely adore her and were always incredibly excited when Terra arrived. She is responsible, creative, fun, and deeply dedicated to child development. Any family would be fortunate to welcome her into their home.
