About Katherine

Hi!! My name is Katie. I am 27 years old and recently graduated with my Masters of Education in Child Studies from Vanderbilt University. I love working with kids of all ages and have 12 plus years of experience working with kids in a variety of settings and 5 years experience of nannying! In college, I double majored in Education and Psychology with a focus in child and adolescent development. I worked at an after-school program tutoring and leading activities for k-12 students for 4 years and then as a residential counselor and special education teaching at a boarding school for students with learning differences before going back to school. I am upbeat/energetic and enjoy leading kids in various activities like walks in the parks, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, sports, reading, etc. I am CPR certified, Covid-19 vaccinated/boosted, have reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
